Dr. Raimundi is a licensed Psychologist specializing in Neuropsychology. She is currently the Director of the outpatient Neuro-Rehabilitation and Interdiscipinary program at Design Neuroscience Center. Prior to arriving at DNC, Dr. Raimundi completed her residency and fellowship training at some of the leading institutions in South Florida, including the VA Hospital in Miami, Health South Rehabilitation Hospital, and at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where she cultivated her primary area of interest in the treatment and recovery of traumatic brain injured patients across a broad spectrum of disease severity.

Dr. Raimundi’s clinical responsibilities includes the administration, scoring, and conceptualization of specialized neuropsychological testing materials, which she can conduct in both English and Spanish. Her expertise allows her to facilitate the diagnosis, medically manage, and develop individualized treatment plans and recommendations for her patients.

 

Dr. Raimundi’s extensive training background has given her vast experience in neurocognitive rehabilitation interventions in both the inpatient and outpatient setting to facilitate successful community reintegration. She is very experienced in providing both psychotherapy and psychoeducational services to patients with varying degrees of pathology. Dr. Raimundi utilizes the cognitivebehavioral approach, which incorporates structure, repetition, abbreviated communication, and environmental compensation in order to facilitate the rehabilitation, adaptation, and compensatory strategies of the patients.
